NCIAP – People’s Medical Care, a non-profit looking for volunteer physicians

NCIAP Medical Care, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. NCIAP provides basic and specialist health care services to uninsured. The organization is run by the support and contribution from the members of local community and businesses, government grants, and other sources of funding.

NCIAP People’s Medical Care is open on saturdays. Saturday clinics are better attended by Indian-American community, and they like having an MD as their provider. NCIAP is lucky to have few dedicated volunteer physicians. Our goal is to have more volunteer physicians on our panel. This helps to reduce the number of hours that the physician is expected to serve on the panel to a maximum of one or two Saturdays per year.

We are planning to provide a nominal amount for the volunteer providers (approx $250 to $300.00) to cover their expenses, meals and travels etc. Saturdays timings are from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM.

Please contact Mrs. Sudha Rathie with your willingness to serve or for further inquiries. She can be reached at sudharathie@aol.com.
